Shirley Boutte Price

St. Martinville – Shirley Ann Boutte Price, eldest daughter of Russell Boutte Sr. and Earline Landry, was born January 6, 1960. She passed away on October 8, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, at the age of 56.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 201 Gary St., in St. Martinville.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Rev. Michael Sucharski will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, softball, sewing, and spending time with her grandsons. She had a joyous spirit and shared her smile and laughter with everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Emick J. Price Sr. of St. Martinville; son, Emick J. Price Jr (Shadelle) of Loreauville; daughter, Kayla S. Price of Opelousas; father, Russell Boutte Sr. (Fabiola) of Jeanerette; mother, Earline Landry of Lafayette; step-father, James Washington of Broussard; brothers, Darrell Boutte (Cassie) of Lafayette, Charles Boutte of Lafayette and Ron Boutte of New Iberia; sisters, Vickie Boutte Trepagnier (Sessil, Sr.) of Bossier City and Alana Boutte of Jeanerette; her grandchildren, Ean Price, Eli Price, Erron Price of Loreauville and Dillon Cooper of Opelousas; goddaughters, Naktia Williams and Pinky George of Lafayette; aunts, Mary Alexander of Houston, Texas, Helen Boutte of Olivier and Mary Boutte of St Martinville; uncle, Marcel Landry of Broussard; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marie Davis Landry and Husvill Landry; paternal grandparents, Bergis Boutte Sr. And Mary Conner Boutte.
