Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service was held at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016, at the Monsignor P.A. Borel Center for Brent Jude David, 53, who passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
Msgr. Curtis Mallet officiated at the Funeral Service. The Reader was Jeanne Pastore and Gift Bearers were Julie Guidroz and Bryan David.
Inurnment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Brent loved working in his greenhouse, cooking, and searching for new recipes to incorporate the vegetables grown in his greenhouse. He always cherished moments spent with his family and friends, especially his precious granddaughter, Anna. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time on the computer, especially communicating on Facebook with the Devic’s Support Group.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Trosclair David; his son, Brandon David and wife Leah of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Danielle David of Breaux Bridge; his mother, Delores Naquin Broussard of Cecilia; his brother, Bryan David and wife Stacey of Cecilia; his sister, Julie Guidroz and husband Danny of Butte La Rose; and his granddaughter, Anna Camille David of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by father, Leroy John David; his step-father, Kenneth Broussard; paternal grandparents, Alcee and Louise David; and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Emaline Naquin.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
