Ronnie James ‘Jimmy’ Laneaux

Breaux Bridge – A special memorial will be held to celebrate the life of Ronnie James “Jimmy” Laneaux, 47, on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at The Pentecostal’s of Breaux Bridge.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m to 4p.m. with a special service to follow from 4 to 5 p.m. The service will include special friends and family who will honor Jimmy with stories and songs.
A burial will be held privately for the immediate family.
Jimmy was a resident of Westmoreland, Tenn., until his untimely death on Saturday, June 25, 2016. He enjoyed hunting, fishing in his pond, and loved helping friends and neighbors; Jimmy never met a stranger. But, the true love of his life was his granddaughter, Abigail.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Summer; granddaughter, Abigail; and companion, Teresa Poole, all of West Moreland, Tenn.; his sisters, Debbie Green and husband Harold, Deane Laviolette and husband Paul, Connie Huval and husband Buster, JoAnn, Tammy and Toni; brothers, Ricky and wife Angie, Robert and wife Kay, Michael “Mike” and wife April, and Steven and wife Katina. He also had a total of 24 nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Doré Laneaux, and his father, Floyd Laneaux.
The Laneaux family would like to thank their friends and family for the love and support received during the time of Jimmy’s sudden death.
