Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Thelma Marie Celestine, 92, who passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by her sons, Russell Celestine of Jennings, Roy Celestine of Cecilia, Calvin Celestine of Breaux Bridge and Sidney Celestine, Jr. and of New Iberia; daughters, Theresa Dalcourt of Breaux Bridge, Mary Joe of Houston, Texas and Mary Nell Robicheaux of Houston, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and sisters, Beatrice Derousselle and Rose Noel both of Breaux Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sidney Celestine, Sr.; brothers, Arthur and Dalton Alex; sister, Daisy Marie Sylvester; and two grandchildren.
