Gurley Joseph LeBlanc
Arnaudville – Gurley Joseph LeBlanc, 91, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
A gravesite service was conducted at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery on Friday, June 24.
Gurley was a veteran of WWII, honorably serving his country in the U. S. Army and served tours of duty in the North Solomon Islands and Southern Philippine Islands Campaigns, and was also stationed in Yokohama and Tokyo, Japan.
He is survived by his brother, Pearlin LeBlanc of Lafayette; son, Chris LeBlanc of Albany, Ga.; his daughter, Kristi LeBlanc of Leesburg, Ga.; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and former wife, Wanda D. LeBlanc of Leesburg, Gia.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Murphy LeBlanc; sisters, Rousella Mouton and Eva Dell Bellard; and son, Rusty LeBlanc.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
