Kenneth P. Lastrappe

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kenneth Patrick “Cero” Lastrappe 58, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Sucharski, Celebrant.
He will await the resurrection at Mallalieu United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 7 a.m. to 9:45a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the church with a rosary to be recited at 9 a.m.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, he passed at 11:47 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. In addition, he was employed by Martin Mills for 27 years, the Iberia Parish School Board as a delivery driver and the St. Martin Parish School System as a bus driver. Lastly, he was known for building homes in St. Martinville.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Laura Marie Lee Lastrappe of St. Martinville; three sons, Jerel Lastrappe, Kalem Lastrappe and Dustin Williams, all of St.t Martinville; one daughter, Cassie Lastrappe of St. Martinville; and three grandchildren, Jamar Lastrappe, Javarian Lastrappe and Dakahi Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lastrappe and Betty Chretein Lastrappe; and one grandchild.
