Chad ‘Bubba’ Joseph Guidry

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Chad Joseph Guidry, 41, who passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
Deacon Ken Soignier officiated at the Funeral Service.
Chad was the owner and operator of Guidry’s Automotive. He enjoyed rebuilding and restoring antique cars. Chad loved to entertain while DJ’ing at different functions. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his two children, Dylan and Faith. His children were the apples of his eyes and he was known to many as a man who would give the shirt off his back. Chad will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 22 years, Dawn Boudreaux Guidry; son, Dylan Guidry of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Faith Guidry of Breaux Bridge; parents, Peggy and Darrel Guidry of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Michelle Pryor and husband Reagan of Rayne, Amy Breaux and husband Kenneth of Breaux Bridge, Cindy Doré of Breaux Bridge and Hali Monk of Breaux Bridge; brother, Francis Guidry and wife Shayna of Breaux Bridge; in-laws, Jolene Boudreaux of Cecilia and Earl Boudreaux of Port Allen; brother-in-law, Donnie Boudreaux of Cecilia; godchildren, Hali Monk of Breaux Bridge, Bree Guidry of Breaux Bridge and Kaylin Periou of Arnaudville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, David and Dorothy Monk; paternal grandparents, Edward and Dora Guidry; and godparents, Jay and Marie Collins.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
