Nicholas ‘Nick’ Michael Peltier

New Iberia – Memorial Services were conducted for Nicholas “Nick” Michael Peltier, 18, at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016, at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
Visitation was held from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday with a Rosary at 5:30 p.m.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Nick passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, as a result of an automobile accident. His brother Christian Peltier passed away shortly after.
Nick would have graduated on the night of his passing from Westgate High School as an Honor Graduate. He loved gaming, electronics and computers and planned on attending UL in the fall in Computer Science.
His family and friends will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Celeste Reeves Peltier and companion Rodney Aucoin of New Iberia; father, André P. Peltier of St. Martinville; maternal grandparents, Patricia Gonsoulin and Ricky; paternal grandparents, Clay Peltier Jr. and Peggy, all of New Iberia; aunts, Liz Menard and Mike of New Iberia, Kim Walker and Adrian of Youngsville and Angelle P. Cole and Jody of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his cousins, Ashley Borel, Katherine Borel, Megan Fremin and Clint, Bridgette Bourque and Ayden Walker.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cecil Joseph Reeves.
Memorial Donations may be made in his name to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2409 Coteau Road, New Iberia, LA 70560.
