Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m, on Wednesday, May 11, at The Bridge Fellowship Church in Breaux Bridge, for Melissa Marie Gainey, 53, who passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her son, Brandon R. Gainey of Baton Rouge; father, Marion Alesich Sr. of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Marion Morris of Carencro and Dale Alesich of Breaux Bridge; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by mother, Mildred Treadway Alesich.
