Johnny C. Soignier

Lafayette – Johnny Carroll Soignier, 81, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his residence.
Johnny was a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Soignier of Cecilia; sons, Jimmy Soignier of Cecilia, Russell Soignier of Rayne, Terry Soignier of Parks, L.J. Soignier of Carencro, and David Soignier of New Orleans; his step-son, Ricky Romeroy; step-daughter, Mrs. Mike (Cindy) Reaux; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Rudolph “Brud” Soignier and Felix Soignier; his sister, Margaret Calais; and former wives, Velma Decoux and Ruby Maitre.
