John DeVillier Jr.

Catahoula – A Funeral Service wase held on Sunday, Feb. 21, at St. Rita Catholic Church for John “Rusty” DeVillier Jr., 50, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
Rusty was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and the National Guard.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy DeVillier; daughter, Malee DeVillier; step daughter, Kelsi Camille; sister, Mrs. Joey (Rachelle) Barras; brother, Pete DeVillier; and former wife, Lacy Buford.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. DeVillier Sr.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
