Shirley Mae Bergeron
Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Shirley Mae Bergeron, 81, who passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.on Wednesday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville.
She is survived by her sons, Stafford “Pip” J. Angelle of Opelousas and Earl “Boo-Boo” P. Bergeron of Leonville; daughters, Mrs. Broudie (Lucy) Guilbeau and Margaret Kidder of Arnaudville, Mrs. Raphael (Janice) Estilette of Port Barre and Leah Lynn Bailey of Shreveport; brothers, Kermit Angelle of Arnaudville and Norris J. Angelle of Lafayette; sisters, Florence Montet of Lafayette, Mrs. Wilson (Ethel) Lalonde of Arnaudville, and Lilly Meyers of Opelousas; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine “Free” Bergeron; brother, Warren Angelle; sister, Jeanette Lalonde; and one grandson.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
