Lafayette – A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church for Samuel Charles, 86, who passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at Maison de Lafayette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Charles of Houston, Texas; and his sister, Nora Babin of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Earline C. Celestine and Yvonne B. John; and brothers, John, Ben and Sydney Charles, Sidney Babin Jr., Herman Babin, T-Jean Narcisse and Lawrence Narcisse.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
