Albert J. Batiste Jr.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Albert Joseph Batiste Jr., 78, who passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Lisa) Anthony, Christine Batiste and Debra Batiste, all of St. Martinville; his sons, Joseph Sr., David Sr. and Stephen Batiste, all of St. Martinville; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildreny; brothers, Steven Sr., Harry, Robert, Felton and Allen Batiste; his sisters, Eula Maee, Charlene, Thelma and Hilda Batiste.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy May Batiste; a daughter, Alberta Batiste; brothers, Jeffery Mitchell and Dalton Batiste.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
