Joseph M. Benjamin

Parks – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 24, at St. Louis Chapel for Joseph Michael Benjamin, 78, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Broussard Benjamin; his sons, Joseph M. Benjamin Jr., Paul, John, Herbert, Perry, Ernest, Horace and Roland Benjamin; his twin brother, Patrick Benjamin; his sisters, Celina Wiltz, Eva Labbé, Jessae M. James, Janella Blanchard and Laverna Babin; 22 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alton, Sterling and Jessie Benjamin; and his sisters, Mary Richard and Margaret Clement.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
