Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Ronnie James Laviolette, 51, who passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
A rosary was recited on Tuesday by family friends, Sally and Max.
Rev. Brian Webre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readings were read by Karen Pellerin.
Interment followed at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He worked for Tools International Corporation for 34 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Denise Domingue Laviolette; daughters, Amber and Lindsay Laviolette; brothers, Ricky Leger, Roland Laviolette and wife Angela, and Curly Laviolette; nephews, Randall and Ryan Laviolette; niece, Jill Laviolette; father-in-law, Curtis Domingue; and mother-in-law, Thelma Domingue.
He was preceded in death by his father, Percy J. Laviolette; mother, Maxine Guillory; brother, Randy Laviolette; half-sister, Jean Keddy; and sister-in-law, Cecile Leger.
Pallbearers were Ricky Leger, Curly Laviolette, Randall Laviolette, Greg Gauthier, Jack Dugas and Albert Morvant.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
