Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oc. 29, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Earl Landry Sr., 81, who passed away on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ophelia Jean Batiste Landry; five daughters, Mrs. Vincent (Mathilda) Alexander, Mrs. Sylvester (Brenda) Hopkins, Linda and Theresa Landry, and Mrs. Floyd (Bernadine) Stevens; son, Earl Landry Jr.; 15 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Wilton and Morris Landry, all of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his son, Arthur J. Landry; four brothers, McKinley, Abraham, Chester and Lincoln Landry; and a grandson.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
