L’Ordre du Bon Temps names Paul Durand emcee

Paul Durand, president and CEO of St. Martin Bank, is serving as Master of Ceremonies for this year’s L’Ordre du Bon Temps Nov. 12 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Acadiana in Lafayette.
L’Ordre du Bon Temps (The Order of Good Times) is the primary fund-raiser for the Acadian Memorial Foundation. L’Ordre is patterned after the gourmet club established by Samuel de Champlain in 1606 in Acadie, the oldest such organization known in North America.
Founded in 1991, the Acadian Memorial Foundation, Inc., serves as a monument to the Acadian people who sought refuge in Louisiana after being exiled from Canada.
