Darrell Charles Kately

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Darrell “Charlie” Charles Kately, 61, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, at Dauterive Hospital.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
He is survived by his spouse, Mary Durgan Etienne Kately; daughter, Darilyn Kately; step daughters, Tiffany Charles, Felicia Walker and Lakesha Etienne; three grandchildren; sisters, Augustine Dauphine, Mariah K. Jacob, Dena Kately and Erline James; and brothers, Michael, Ray and Lesley Kately.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Caroline Dauphine and Lynie Willis.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
