Eula Mae Champagne

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Eula Mae Champagne, 79, who passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Lonnie Champagne of St. Martinville and Willis Courville of Bull Island; her daughters, Mrs. Norris (Rachel) Touchet, Mrs. Edmond (Priscilla) Bulliard, Elizabeth Knight and Tammy Martin, all of St. Martinville, Mrs. Ronald (Pearlle) Colbert of Four Corners and Mrs. Avery (Linda) Theriot of Coteau Holmes; her brothers, James, Dennis, Brannon, Raymond and David Courville; her sisters, Mrs. Carrol (Dianna) Broussard and Mrs. Allen (Brenda) Thibodeaux; 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband, Rufus Champagne; her sisters, Eunice C. Barras and Una C. Borel; her brothers, Willis, John and Daniel Courville; and a great-grandson.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
