Dalton J. Boullion

Coteau Holmes – Funeral services were held for Dalton J. Boullion, 78, at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015, at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery. Fr. Joe officiated.
Visiting hours were observed at Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. The funeral home reopened on Monday from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Dalton was born February 26, 1937, in New Iberia, and passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015, at St. Martinville Rehab and Nursing Center, with his family at his side.
Survivors include his children, Shane Boullion and wife Crystal of Cankton, Maxine Blanchard and husband Steve of Coteau Holmes, and Sheila Boudreaux and husband Mike of Coteau Holmes; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister and brother, Ethel Boullion and Robert Boullion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sonnier Boullion; his son, Gerald Hulin; parents, Alida and Saul Touchet, and Edman and Inez Boullion; and his sister, Shirley Poirrier.
Serving as pallbearers were Shane Boullion, Steve Blanchard, Nick Boullion, Dalton “Boobie” Boudreaux, Wayne Smith and Robert “Bubbie” Richard.
