Wade J. Hardy

Arnaudville – Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church for Wade J. Hardy, 80, who passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015, at his residence in Arnaudville.
Interment will be held at a later date in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Keenan Brown will officiate at the services.
Mr. Hardy was a native and lifelong resident of Arnaudville. He retired in 1976 with William Mac William Dredging Company. He had much joy spending time with his son, nieces and nephews while they were growing up. Mr. Hardy was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marella Daigle Hardy of Arnaudville; one son, Chad Hardy of Armaudville; one brother, Louis Hardy and his wife Mary of Arnaudville; and a host of nieces, nephews and plenty others that he spoiled.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke Hardy and the former Bunice Willtz; three brothers, Murphy Hardy, Harold Hardy and Raymond Hardy; and two sisters, Agnes Hardy and Alic Joyce.
A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until service time on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Kimmy Hardy, Stafford Angelle, Aarom Theriot, David Boudreaux, Kevin Daigle and Drake Frederick. Honorary pallbearer will be Timmy Hardy
