William J. Broussard Jr.

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Sept. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for William “Tom” Joseph Broussard Jr., 88, who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at his residence.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 66 years, Stella Jane Hebert Broussard; his sister, Ivy Lou B. Richard; one son, William K. Broussard; three daughters, Mrs. Dudley (Cynthia) Duplechien, Martha Broussard and Mrs. Rocky (Lisa) Sonnier; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacie Campbell; brothers, Larkin, Percy, Irving Sr., Andrew, Ivan and Howard Broussard; sisters, Louella Baudoin, May B. LeBlanc, Alice B. Frederick and Beulah B. Deshotel.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
