Allen J. Guidry

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Allen J. Guidry, 80, who passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at St. Landry Extended Care.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Jesse Guidry, Carl Guidry, Mrs. Andrew (Sandy), Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Guidry, and Mrs. James (Kathy) Thibodeaux; brothers, Nolan Guidry, Leland Guidry, Newton Guidry and Harris Guidry; sister, Dorita Chambless; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Cormier Guidry; his daughter, Renella Frederick; a grandson; his brother, Alton Guidry; and his sisters, Bernice Arnaud, Ivy Carriere and Paola Huval.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
