Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 31, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Theresa W. Batiste, 86, who passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at her residence.
A rosary will be prayed at 8 a.m. on Friday.
Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Bell Demouchet; grandchildren, Bridget Calais, Wilson Demouchet, Jr., Faylisa Roberts, Tameca Demouchet, Talaska Demouchet; brother, Evans Williams, Sr.; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Batiste; and brothers, Alton Thibodeaux, Leroy Williams, Gelvin Williams.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
