Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for John “Daday” John, 88, who passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Lafon Nursing Home in New Orleans.
Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his children, Audrey Lombard of Baton Rouge, Helen Davis of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) Grooms, Harold John and Michael John, all of New Orleans; brother, Casey Alexander of Breaux Bridge; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Alberta Pete; and brother, Tarlton John.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
