Mrs. Dina Talley

Breaux Bridge – Mrs. Dina Talley passed away at her home Thursday, June 4, 2015. She was born on November 25, 1969, in Loreauville, but lived the last years of her life in Breaux Bridge.
“Mama Dina” was an angel living among us.  She was a caring woman with a beautiful soul.  She often times went out of her way to help others, especially the neighborhood children. She took them in and treated them like her own. She also a loved to rescue animals.  Dina started a farm housing up to 200 rescues, loving them all as much as her own children. She truly had a kind heart all the days of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman J. Olivier and Eula Mae Chataignier; two sisters, Tina Tauzin and Marliene Courville; and her brother-in-law, Timothy Tauzin.
She is survived by her children, Kent and Kody Talley of Breaux Bridge, and Tessa Kessel of Breaux Bridge, who was like a  daughter to her; and her grandchildren, Tyla Talley and Marley Rae Levergne; her fiancé, Brent LeBlanc, and Sheila Pauley who she considered a sister.
Visitation will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015, with the immediate family and will open to all friends and extended family beginning at 8 a.m.
Memorial Services will begin at 12 noon. Rosary Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. and visitation will continue until 10 p.m. Visitation and Memorial Services will be conducted at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Madonna Hall, 1006 St. Rita Hwy., St. Martinville.
