ARNAUDVILLE MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES FOLLOWING EXECUTION OF SEARCH WARRANT

Friday afternoon, narcotic agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Arnaud Rd, in Arnaudville.
Agents recovered a large quantity of marijuana, synthetic cannabinoids, methamphetamine, Suboxone, and Alprazolam. Deputies said the drugs have a street value of over $50,000.
Additionally, approximately $10,000 in cash was also seized.
Cody Lormand, 27, Arnaudville, was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I, Schedule II, Schedule III and Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies, illegal carrying of weapon in the presence of illegal narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia.
