Mary Margaret François

St. Martinville – Services were conducted for Miss Mary Margaret Francois, 76 at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Interment was in the St. Martin De Tours Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday at Golden Meadows Funeral Home Chapel and resumed at 7 a.m. until time of services on Friday. A Rosary was prayed at 7 .p.m Thursday at the Funeral Home Chapel.
A native and lifelong resident of St. Martinville, she graduated from Carver High School in 1955 and was employed for over 20 years at Martin Mills.
She is survived by a son, Troy (Darnell) Francois of St. Martinville; three daughters, Karen Francois of Lafayette, Yvette (Brett Pfrommer) Francois of Alexandria, Va., and Chanelle Francois of St. Martinville; a brother, Allen Francois;and two sisters, Lounetta James and Linda Martin.
She also survived by nine grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, JeanBaptiste Francois and Yvonne Francois; four brothers, Lawerence Francois, Curley Francois, Craig Francois and McKinley Francois; and a sister, Jeanetta Francois.
Active Pallbearers were Coby Francois, Ray Francois, Lawrence Francois Jr., Brett Pfrommer, Trent Francois and John Francois.
The Golden Meadows Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
