Amydel Bossier Calais

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Amydel “Mai-naus” Bossier Calais, 92, who passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette.
Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by six sons, Dalton Calais, Clifton Calais, Nelton Calais, Alvin Calais, Ernest Calais and William Bossier; three daughters, Armance Calais, Mrs. Percy (Yola) Hamilton and Amyola Calais; her sister, Irene Noel; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, Felton Calais; six sisters, Cecile Ouzinne, Lucille Babineaux, Mary Griffen, Isabelle Simpson, “Toon” Francis and “Goon” Davis; and two brothers, Alvin and Joseph Bossier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
