Antoine Johnny Robin

Arnaudville – A Mass of Christian burial was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Antoine Johnny Robin, 75, who passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, Dixon Springs, Tenn.
Visiting hours were observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville from 2:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Keith Landry officiated at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service were Lauren Darbonne and Dawn Torkowski. Serving as gift bearers were Barbara Latiolais and Janice Robin.
Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Mr. Robin enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to go shrimping, hunting and fishing; which in his last days he spoke of often. He was a great caregiver to his wife and many others. Family and friends often sought advice from him and he was very happy to give it. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and father figure to many people throughout his life and will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his son, Chad (Pascal) Robin; daughter, Paula R. (Roger Dale) Darbonne; sister, Evelyn Latiolais; grandchildren, Joseph Darbonne, Drake Acevedo, Lauren Darbonne and Gracie Robin;and a great-grandson, Ethan Darbonne.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Robin; father, Regis Robin; mother, Emma Robin; brothers, Leonard Robin and Clebert Robin; and sisters, Bernice Lalonde and Clema Wiltz.
Pallbearers were Chad Robin, Joseph Darbonne, Drake Acevedo, Roger Dale Darbonne, Ryan Bardin and Andy Torkowski.
Honorary pallbearer was Leroy “L.J.” Olivier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
