Breaux bridge man jailed in injury of infant

A 23-year-old Breaux Bridge man was jailed May 6 on a charge of second degree cruelty of a juvenile in connection with the injury of an infant.
On April 19, St. Martin Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call in Breaux Bridge in reference to an infant who had sustained a possible head injury. The infant was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
After an investigation into the incident, Courtney Jones of Breaux Bridge was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
