Gloria Mason

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Gloria Mason, 85, who passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed from 3:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Fr. Brian Webre officiated at the Funeral Mass and concelebrant was Fr. Donald Pelous. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Gloria was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was also a member of AARP, VFC and the Council on Aging.
She is survived by her brother, Jason Mason and his wife Jo of Navarre, Florida; and two sisters, Doris Champagne and her husband Harris “Mick,” and Shelba Bergeron and her husband Entoine, all of Breaux Bridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elus and Elmire Trahan Mason.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
