Richard Chastant

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Richard “Dickie” Chastant, 72, who passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
Inurnment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Guidry Chastant of Lafayette; his daughters, Gwendolyn Toucheck of Scott, Mrs. Keenan (Debbie) Oubre of Garland, Texas, and Connie Theriot of Lemitar, N.M.; his brother, Norman Chastant of Loreauville; his sisters, Jackie Sandoz and Margaret Broussard of New Iberia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Warren and Raymond Chastant; his sisters, Loretta C. Prados and Katherine C. Watkins.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
