Shirley Marie Latiolais Thibodeaux

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Shirley Marie Latiolais Thibodeaux, 81, who passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours were observed from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continued on Friday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Dion Hall in Catahoula. A rosary was prayedat 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Fr. Richard Fabre officiated at the Funeral Mass.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Thibodeaux was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. As a pastime she enjoyed sewing, and playing cards and Bingo. She cherished the times spent with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her sons, Abby Thibodeaux and wife Veronica, and Lloyd Thibodeaux Jr.; her daughter, Eunice Badeaux and husband Richard; her grandchildren, Jamie Dugas and husband Aldus III, Angelique Boudreaux and husband Jacob, and Kamie Thibodeaux; her great-grandchildren, Addison Dugas, Rylie Boudreaux and Reece Boudreaux; and her sister, Glenda Huval and husband Larry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Thibodeaux Sr.; two sons, Dirk and Adley Thibodeaux; her parents, Abbey and Alice L. Latiolais; and four sisters, Mary Patin, Bernice Blanchard, Hazel Borel and Rose Boudreaux.
Pallbearers were Abby Thibodeaux, Lloyd Thibodeaux Jr., Jacob Boudreaux, Aldus Dugas III, Lawrence Patin and Deno Boudreaux.
Honorary pallbearers were Allen Blanchard and Carol Blanchard.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
