Germaine Joseph Williams

A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at St. Louis Chapel for Germaine Joseph Williams, 29, who passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
A rosary was prayed at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Rev. Donovan Labbe officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers for the service were Kwana Alexander and Latwana Livings. Gift Bearers were Schrell Chevalier and Corianna Wiltz.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery # 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Germaine enjoyed dancing to Zydeco and drinking. He also enjoyed shooting pool and cherished moments spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Emily Williams of Cypress Island; his girlfriend, Erica John of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Travion Isiah Germaine Williams and Tylan Jude John; his daughters, Trajeane Elizabeth Williams and Trajlik Marie Williams, all of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Mark Williams, Christopher Williams and his wife Venessa, Patrick Williams and David Williams, all of Breaux Bridge, Gaston Williams Jr. of Lafayette and Kenneth Williams of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Tralissa Chevalier of Arnaudville, Lissa John and her husband Joseph of Cecilia, Geralyn Ngassa of Monroe, Genora Williams, Sara Wiltz and Valarie Sam and her husband Willie, all of Breaux Bridge; his grandmother, Joanella Blanchard; and his godparents, Emma and Norris Charles.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gaston Williams Sr.; paternal grandparents, Mathilda and Amos Williams Sr.; sisters, Anna Mae Williams, Mary Helen Galentine and Mildred Batiste; uncles, Norwood and Nolton Blanchard, Amos Jr., Larry and Thomas Williams; cousin, Daniel Zenon; and his close friend, Tyron Celestine.
Pallbearers were Mark Williams, Christopher Williams, David Williams Sr., Darnell Chevalier Jr., Terrell Chevalier and Antonio Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Williams, Patrick Williams, Gaston Williams Jr., Norris Charles, Lonnie Zeno, Wilson Zeno and Lawrence Blanchard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
