Mary Alice Stelly Guidry

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mary Alice Stelly Guidry, 82, who passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Rev. Michael Delcambre officiated at the Funeral Service. Readers were Hannah Guidry and Cherrie Guidry. Gift Bearers were Hayden Guidry and Bentli Guidry.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in Henderson.
Miss Alice was a loyal and dedicated employee at her son’s business, Guidry’s Catfish Inc., for 38 years. She always greeted her customers with a smile and a joke. The most important thing she loved was spending time with her kids and family. She enjoyed playing scrabble with her friends, going dancing and reading. Miss Alice did an extensive amount of traveling throughout the United States and she would always say “I Have a long way to go and a short time to get there.” She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her companion, Kat Latiolais; her daughters, Sandra Guidry Robertson and husband Tony Robertson of Henderson and Lisa Guidry of Henderson; her sons, Bobby Guidry and wife Kathleen Alzate Guidry of Breaux Bridge, Darrell Guidry and wife Jennifer Noel Guidry of Henderson; her brother, Frederic Stelly Jr. and wife Elizabeth Cormier Stelly; her grandchildren, Jeanese Raymond, Cherrie Guidry, Jason Guidry, Joshua Guidry, Hayden Guidry, Jeremy Perrodin, Jincy Ryder and Jordan Ryder; and her great-grandchildren, Nickolas Carriere, Alysse Carriere, Jagger Sonnier, Hannah Guidry, Bentli Guidry, Braizli Guidry, Layton Marks, Zaiden Broussard, Emaree Guidry and Addisyn Guidry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jules Guidry; her mother, Agnes Guilbeau Stelly; her father, Frederic Stelly Sr.; and her sister, Bernice Stelly Patin.
Pallbearers will be Frederic Stelly Jr., Jason Guidry, Joshua Guidry, Jeremy Perrodin, Jordan Ryder and Tony Robertson.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
