Danny Michael Stoute

A Full-Traditional Latin Mass was celebrated by Fr. Francis Miller at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Danny Michael Stoute, 55, who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015.
Visiting hours were observed from 12 noon until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Entombment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Danny was self-employed as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and a farmer. He was also a pilot and was a member of the Louisiana Aerial Applicators Association and the Louisiana Cattleman’s Association.
Danny was a devout Catholic whose faith in God was strong, but was fully enriched when he made his first Cursillo. As a pastime he enjoyed listening to music, playing his drums, and going horseback riding. He loved being with his family and his dogs and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Taylor Stoute; his daughters, Lauren Landry and husband Joey, and Sarah Stoute; his sons, Jake Stoute, Joseph Stoute and Seth Stoute; his step son, Kyle Taylor; his mother, Marella Devillier Stoute; his sisters, Jackie Stoute, Judy Frederick and Gail Melancon; and his grandchildren, Devin Taylor, Deanna Landry, Kole Landry, Kyler Landry, Kamdyn Landry and Kynleigh Landry.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Stoute.
Pallbearers were Jake Stoute, Joseph Stoute, Seth Stoute, Kelly Melancon, Ricky Picard and Joey Landry.
Honorary pallbearers were Devin Taylor, Kole Landry and Kyler Landry.
The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Fr. Francis Miller, Dr. Salmon Malad, his nurse, Gwen, the staff at the Cancer Center of Acadiana, and his nurses with Hospice of Acadiana, Jackie and Debra, for the compassionate care and attention given to him during his time of need.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations, in Danny’s name, to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
