Harry Lee Stelly
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Harry Lee Stelly, 71, who passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings.
Visiting hours were observed on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:45 .p.m on Sunday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville.
Brother Donnie Venable officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Harry loved to work and was known to be a hard-working man, as well as a very loving, giving, and generous person – he knew no stranger. Harry was very skilled and trained his nephews to be boat captains. He loved cars, the outdoors, going fishing, and cooking for family and friends. He was an avid fan of L.S.U. and the New Orleans Saints. He was the best father in the world and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Fanna Stelly Easter and husband Rick, and Natasha Stelly; his brothers, Harris Stelly and wife Yvonne, and Russell Stelly; his sisters, Evelyn Kelleher and husband Gerald, and Earline Lay and husband John; and his grandchildren, Baliey Solieau, Dayton Solieau and Landon Bergeron.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Steve Stelly and Germaine Dautreuil Stelly; and his sister, Joyce Lee Robin.
Pallbearers were Russell Stelly, Rick Easter, Poose Noel, Jude Robin, Michael Stelly and Matthew Stelly.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
