Geraldine Hebert

A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Geraldine Hebert, will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015. She was born on February 16, 1932 and departed this life on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Catahoula surrounded by loved ones.
Rev. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Soloist will be Pat Menard.
Stella Herwig and Lainey Lanclos will deliver the Scripture readings. Gift bearers will be Judy Dore and Mary L. Terry. Lucy Courville will deliver the eulogy.
Miss Hebert donated her body for scientific research. She was the only child of David and Yola Green Hebert who preceded her in death.
She retired as secretary of the St. Martin Parish School Board after 32 years of service.
She was a giving and caring person and will be missed by many.
She was devoted to voluntary service at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge and spent many hours in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the St. Bernard Chapel of Adoration in Breaux Bridge. She was devoted to the Virgin Mary.
She is survived by her six godchildren: Lauralyn Dominguez of New Orleans, Lucy Green Courville of Catahoula, Judy Champagne Dore of Breaux Bridge, Mary LeBlanc Terry of Breaux Bridge; Lainey Courville Lanclos of Cecilia and Deborah LeBlanc of Bossier City. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
