Rosemary Bagwell Lewis

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Rosemary Bagwell Lewis, 78, who passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Maison de Lafayette.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
Pastor Joe Jenkins will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Rosemary enjoyed painting, doing arts and crafts projects, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Rodney Chitwood and wife Melissa, and Kenny Lewis, all of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Jack Bagwell Jr. and wife Sue of Oran, Mo.; two sisters Doris Prost of St. Louis, Mo., and Linda Wissmann and husband Mark of Jackson, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Brandon Mesey, Chantel Albert, Matthew Chitwood, Brook Lewis, Victoria Navarre, Gavin Navarre, Kayla Lewis and Nicholas Lewis; and two great-grandchildren, Emaree Langlois and Elijah Chitwood.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Neal Lewis; her daughter, Cindy Mesey; and her parents, Jack Bagwell Sr. and Nema Clark Bagwell.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Chitwood, Kenny Lewis, Jack Bagwell Jr. and Mark Wissmann.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
