St. Martinville's Maison Duchamp becomes an art studio

Professional fine artist Cheryl D. McClure of Overton, Texas, taught a three-day seminar in abstract techniques at La Maison Duchamp here last week. A number of artists from out of town participated.
The seminar was conceived and organized by local artist Louise Guidry.
Artist Janelle Hebert, a former Jackson Square habuté, said intentions are to continue the concept of using the Maison's large, airy parlor to bring experts and art students together in downtown St. Martinville.
