Butte La Rose et Les Entourage

Bonjour!
Here I go again preaching on onions and garlic. I am talking with anyone who will share these old-time remedies their parents and grandparents used daily for healthier selves.
Wilda Lormand said she remembers every day her mom ate a teaspoon of chopped up raw garlic in her food. That rewarded her healthy life of 97 years. Imagine that!
These two vegetables have phenomenal health benefits. Eat plenty of onions and buy the loose garlic also.
Folks at Rees and Hebert’s always have specials on onions. I never leave from there with less than two bags. The onion and garlic families are anti-microbial and anti-bacterial. Placing a ¼ slice on the arch of the foot gives them access to your internal organs through meridians in your body. The onion can be directly delivered. Transdermal delivery (on the skin) is one of the best delivery mechanisms, as it will bypass the stomach acids and go directly into the blood. The bottom of the feet and the forearm are great places to put high powered foods and essential oils into the body. Sliced garlic on the bottom of the feet will work nicely too. And we wonder how did people survive in the olden days.
To tell y’all I fell down the cement steps at that east side door entrance at church in Catahoula March 30th this year. Thinking I was tough like I used to be, this horrible pain was going to heal on its own instead of me seeing my doctor. Did not. I went to the doctor July 7th.
Take care of injuries to your body – do not neglect. Damaged ligaments, herniated discs do not show in x-rays. Every establishment has liability insurance. Young or old fill out an accident report on the spot like I should have. Don’t neglect your injuries. Especially you seniors! Your body has to last you all the days of your life. Remember that!
I went on a third follow-up appointment with the doctor last week. As I sat in his little cubby room waiting on him, something on his wall made me turn my attention to the muscles on my arms. I thought “Ah-ha, I still have muscles.” After he checked me having showed him where my worst pains are, I flexed my muscles to show him and he asked me if I was working out. I said no that has built up through time from working around the house and yard. He said in all respect to me he has to watch over me because I am tough as a horse. I said, Tough? My yard has only been cut twice this year and that was done on the riding mower. And what I do in my house is not strenuous at all. He swelled his chest out and said, what you call not strenuous would be much too strenuous for me. He agreed when I said we all need good laughs.
Another good laugh! At Walmart as I walked by the deodorant isle there was a young couple trying to select which one to buy. His accent said they were not locals. Showing his bewilderment he asked his wife why so many different kinds. I couldn’t resist and backed my basket to their isle and suggested those go by people’s heights, age and weights. I used my hand gestures to show peoples different height levels from very short to very tall and showed the different widths and weights. They looked at me and said, Oh! They understood I was joking and laughed as I rolled my basket away.
I told one of the employees who’d overheard us that’s worth writing about. Imagine if that was really true.
Thank you my family and friends.
