Lafayette General adds neurologist
Lafayette General Health announced the addition of a new neurologist, Virginia Kellner.
Kellner joins Drs. David Weir, Damon Patterson and Adam Foreman at the Neuroscience Center of Acadiana.
Dr. Kellner is returning to Acadiana from St. Louis, Mo., where she completed her fellowship and residency.
She treats a variety of neurological conditions, including migraines, epilepsy, neuropathy and more. Her office is located in Suite 202 at 136 Hospital Drive, across from Lafayette General Medical Center.
Kellner earned her doctor of medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She previously graduated magna cum laude while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University.
The previous Lafayette High School valedictorian completed her residency at Washington University’s Barnes Jewish Hospital and her fellowship at Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association.
