Meeting to review I-10 widening

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed I-10 widening project from the LA 328 (Breaux Bridge Exit) east to LA 347 (Henderson/Cecilia Exit). The proposed project would include full depth replacement of the pavement within the existing lanes and widening of I-10 into the existing median.
The meeting is set for 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 in the Breaux Bridge City Hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. There will be a continuous multi-media presentation about the project. Additional project information will be available. Representatives from DOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Oral and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting.
Comments can also be mailed to the DOTD address shown below, postmarked by June 2.
