Flood kits available from local OHSEP

Flood Kits are now available to residents and businesses affected by the recent flood event in St. Martin Parish who have already registered their damages with the St. Martin Parish OHSEP Office.
The kits will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a first come first served basis at the Parish Public Safety Complex located at 4870 Main Hwy./La. 31 (at the corner of Cypress Island Extension between Parks and Breaux Bridge). There is a limit of one kit per household or business.
If you would like a kit, but have not registered your damages yet, calling 337-394-2810 to file your report or you can e-mail your info to ohsep@stmartinsheriff.org.
When you call or email, please have the following information available:
1. Name and Address
2. Contact Information (phone and email)
3. Pictures of any and all damage
4. How deep the water was
5. Whether you own or rent the property
6. Whether or not you have flood insurance coverage.
This needs to be completed even though you have flood insurance, and in addition to reporting it to FEMA.
