St. Martinville's Christmas Parade on for Sunday, Dec. 15

St. Martinville – This city’s Christmas Parade, postponed because of weather last weekend, is on for this Sunday, Dec. 15.

After the parade will be the Main Street Association’s “Christmas on the Boulevard” – food, music and crafts on next to St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.

The parade begins at St. Martinville Senior High at 2 p.m. and proceeds south on Main Street, La. Highway 31, past the church square.

Parade committee chairman George Choplin said floats and other parade units can still sign up through Friday, Dec. 13.

The parade is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of St. Martinville.
