St. Martin Sheriff offering driver safety class for seniors

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an AARP Driver Safety Class for those 55 years and over on April 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Martin Parish Training Academy located at 1815 Terrace Highway, St. Martinville.

Anyone who would like further information or would like to register for the class is asked to contact Sgt. Daisy Trimble at (337) 394-2672.

The deadline for registration is April 7.

The cost of the course is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
