THE ST. MARTIN PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE REMINDS PARADE GOERS OF THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SUNDAY’S PARADE

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office will once again be assisting the St. Martinville Police Department on Sunday, March 2, 2014, for the New Comers Parade. In order for everyone to have a safe and happy Mardi Gras Parade, we are asking the residents of St. Martinville, and parade goers to please note the following:

Anyone attending the parade is reminded to be where you need to be by 12:00 p.m. At noon traffic will be routed around the City of St. Martinville and there will be no traffic allowed into the City.

Wreckers will be on hand to tow any vehicles found blocking any roadways and driveways.

No ATVs or horses will be allowed.

Any vehicles impeding the flow of traffic or traveling the wrong way will be turned around.

We would like to thank the citizens of St. Martin Parish for their cooperation and assistance in making this a safe and fun Mardi Gras.
