St. Martin Deputies say Cecilia car burglaries solved

St. Martinville – The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office reports solving a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred on Preston Guidry Road in the Cecilia area.

On Monday, March 24, Terrance Anderson, 28, of Breaux Bridge allegedly fled from deputies following their response to a domestic disturbance.

On Tuesday, March 25, Anderson was observed in the area where the vehicle burglaries occurred and was apprehended by deputies on suspicion of simple burglary of a moveable, domestic abuse battery, simple battery, resisting an officer, and possession with intent to distribute Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances.

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center with bond set at $60,500.
